The Coordinator of Pastoral and Community Engagement affirms Glenview as a welcoming space for all and provides leadership that aligns with Glenview’s mission to transform lives through:
Connecting people within our congregation and in our broader community to meaningful service opportunities.
Welcoming people of all ages to grow in faith through learning activities and building relationships.
Providing pastoral care for all ages in coordination with the Minister by visiting with members as needed.
The Coordinator of Pastoral and Community Engagement will be hired on a contract basis based on a 40-hour workweek, including regular office hours, off-site visiting, remote work, and most Sunday mornings.
University degree or community college diploma in a relevant field of study required, with some theological or Biblical education. Leadership and/or participation in the congregational life of a Christian Church needed, with experience in community volunteering and pastoral visitation an asset.
