"Maundy" comes from the Latin word, "mandatum", which means "commandment." On the night before Good Friday Jesus gave his disciples a New Commandment: "Love one another as I have loved you."

On Maundy Thursday, April 13, at 7:00 p.m. we'll gather and remember that commandment as Jesus illustrated it by offering the bread and the cup at the dinner table, and by washing his disciples' feet after the meal.
